Browsing the directory

You can browse preschool.nz without telling us anything about yourself. We don't ask you to sign up, we don't run analytics, and we don't use cookies to follow you around.

What we do hold

Only what the site needs to work:

• Listings. The business details an owner submits — name, domain, contact details, address, description and photo — are published on purpose. Owners can change or remove them at any time using their manage link.
• Ratings. So the same person can't rate the same business over and over, we store a one-way hash of your IP address alongside the rating. The address itself is never stored, and the hash can't be turned back into it. A small cookie remembers that you've rated, so the page can tell you.
• Server logs. Our web server keeps ordinary access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting — as every web server does.

Things loaded from elsewhere

Some parts of a page come from other companies' servers, which means those companies see your browser's request (including your IP address) when the page loads: the map on a listing, the map view, and the web fonts. We don't send them anything about you beyond that request.

Sharing

We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't send marketing.

Getting things removed

If you own a listing, use your manage link to change or remove it. Once a listing is removed its details are gone from the site.
